My mom, according to my Son!

Hey, mommas out there! This is such a cute idea to do with your kids. It's something funny to keep and look back at when they are older. Here is what my son thinks about me! ha ha

My mom, according to Aiden age 4 8/8/11

Ask your kid the questions and write them down exactly how they respond.

1. What is something mom always says to you?
"Don't drop the picture". ha ha (I was hoping for something like "I love you" )

2. What makes mom happy?
"When I give you coca-cola"

3. What makes mom sad?
"When I leave...and you don't know I did."

 4. How does your mom make you laugh?
"Because you tell funny jokes"

5. What was your mom like as a child?
"Pretty"

6. How old is your mom?
"30?" I said no but close "then are you 16?"

7. How tall is your mom?
"18 ft"

8. What is her favorite thing to do?
"Stay home and exercise"

9. What does your mom do when you're not around?
"look on the computer"

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?
"To be pretty"

11. What is your mom really good at?
"doing exercise"

12. What is your mom not very good at?
"driving sometimes" ha ha ha

13. What does your mom do for her job?
"My mom doesn't have a job"

14. What is your mom's favorite food?
"I would say... pasta"

15. What makes you proud of your mom?
"When she gets mail for me and brings me my own mail".

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?
"daphne from scooby doo on Cartoon network"

17. What do you and your mom do together?
"shop at stores"

18. How are you and your mom the same?
"We look kinda the same"

19. How are you and your mom different?
"Different color eyes"

20. How do you know your mom loves you?
"Because she does... and you hug me"

21. Where is your mom's favorite place to go?
"To see Barbara"

Out of the mouths of babes! I thought you'd enjoy hearing his answers! Some of them made me laugh!

Mrs. Globe virtual voting

Hello, darlings! I'm gearing up for the Mrs. Globe pageant. I can't believe it's like 3 weeks away! The thing I'm most nervous about to be honest is leaving my kids for a week! That's the longest I've ever been away from them! But, I know they will be fine!

The pageant has opened up their virtual voting for the delegates. I'm going to post the link but I'm only going to ask you to vote if you feel it in your heart to. It is $10 per vote. I know you are probably thinking... why does it cost money to vote? All of the proceeds go towards the WIN Foundation which helps women and children in the recovery from abuse. It all goes to charity. So, even if I don't place you can rest assure that it went to a good cause.

Link to the Mrs Globe Virtual Voting- I am Michigan! :)

Like I said... there is NO pressure what-so-ever... only if you feel it in your heart! <3

Thanks so much! Much love to you all!

This list of wishes

I don't know about you but I have a long list of wishes that keep stock piling up by the minute... blogs and youtube aren't really helping my cause.

After watching a video by Makeupgeektv I have decided I'd like to give the Beauty Blender a second thought. I've tried Sonia Kashuk's version and was doubtfully unimpressed. It did nothing for my skin and sucked up all my foundation like it was the Sahara desert. But, after watching Marlena's video and seeing how amazing her skin is... that was added to the list!

One of my new favorite youtubbers Morekaylaroberts did a video a few days ago where she was using MAC Smut. Now, I usually steer clear of pretty dark colors because they just look awful on me but Smut looked very wearable and easy to work with. So, we shall see if that one works out for me. I also ordered MAC Costa Chic from watching her videos... that will be delivered tomorrow. I.can't.wait!
Note: check out Kayla's videos. I think she is such a great person and unfairly beautiful.. might I add. I love this girl.

I still have my eye on House Of Harlow's Resin necklace. I've loved it for years but just have spend my money on make up rather than saving for this. Go figure. This retails for $145 so that's kinda expensive for a necklace I won't be wearing all that much. Maybe I'm cheap. But, I love it and it's for sure on my wish list!

A few days ago I was watching some of Donnashorts1's videos (love her... sweet sweet person) and she was talking about a brush from Glamcor and as soon as I saw how she was using it... I made a mental note to check it out.  The brush looks fantastic... the price... not so much. This one will probably just stay a mental wish.

What is on your wish list that you think I'd like to add to my mental ever growing list. What are some new products that you have tried lately that you think are note worthy?

Love,
