The real ugly truth of a mommy OOTD

I'm not proud of it nor am I happy with it but I pretty much LIVE in pajamas. It's kinda depressing actually. But when you are snowed in { we had a HUGE snow storm last night}, have nowhere to go and nobody to impress except a 2 and 3 year old... honestly... what's the point. I do dream about walking around in fancy clothes, chic heels, perfect make up and sleek hair {it's not that simple with two toddlers} so this is sometimes the very ugly truth of a stay at home mom....totally glam, right?

Actually there is NOTHING glam or slightly attractive about this!!

-Fluffy pink bathrobe... everyone has to have one! :)
-Comfy Shirt
-Comfy pants

Yep, that pretty much sums it up. Sexy. Not.

DREAMING OF SUMMER...
cute dresses, breezy tops, sexy heels, glowing skin.....

buahahahaha so TRUE! i caught myself leaving the house in pajamas all in effort to stay warm & cozy :/ my go to OOTD this winter has been leggings, uggs & AA oversized sweatshirts. not sexy at all. i will be daydreaming of sundresses, heels & sun kissed skin with ya mama!

I could not agree with you more.I don't have kids but I go to school and work and I find that I have been living in my PINK sweatpants! I just love them!!

I love these kinds of posts Sarah! You look beautiful though, no matter what you wear/what your hair/makeup is like! xoxo

I don't have kids, but that is pretty much my OOTD too. I have the same robe! Sometimes I feel like the blogging world over glamorizes things. Or maybe I'm just not as glamourous as most... we live on a farm and we breed dogs so I'm always in jeans and possibly work boots or right now, snow boots. I can't wait for summer.

Yes, pjs all day isn't the most amazing look, but on a plus side you look tiny! :)

How did you get all of the baby weight off (I know it has been awhile)? But what are the real "woman to woman" kind of tips you have?

This made my day :) I'm a mom of a 21 month old and 1month old...Yesterday I was like "What happened to me? I use to dress so cute. You couldn't catch me in pjs! And now I rarely change out of them :(" I use to be a makeup artist for MAC, and my favorite part of that job was getting to dress up and do all out makeup. Ahhhh, the things we do for kids. lol. Thanks so much for the post!!!! Ps-And if I do change out of them its into workout clothes, like yoga pants. HAHA. Pretty sure those would be just as comfortable to sleep in :) Glad there's other pretty ladies out there like me!!!

Sarah I'm the exact same way. I'm not a mommy but if I don't have to be in jeans/dress pants I'm not going to be. I live in my pj's and sweats. If I'm only going to be home sitting around why not be comfy? I still like to have my hair and makeup done a lot of them time though just in case something comes up.

I have a two and a half year old and a 2 month old and I am ALWAYS in my pj's too! I love when I know I'm going to go somewhere because then I have a reason to get all dressed up!

p.s. Could you give me some mommy advice? How do you get both kids asleep when your hubby isn't home to help? I have the hardest time doing that! Also, I'm still working on losing some baby weight... any advice on how you lost? Love your blogs and vids!! xoxo

Granted I'm not a mother, but I can vouch for being incredibly busy. Jeez, you could never get me to wear sweats outside of the gym, jeans used to be my comfy clothes, nows it's all about my comfy sweats *smacks forehead* summer com here quick!!
